George Wylesol

Bio

George Wylesol is an artist based in Baltimore, USA. His illustration work combines clean, descriptive lines with bright colors and grungy textures. He pulls inspiration and imagery from everyday life: past experiences at work as a hospital janitor, old forgotten video games, and religious paraphernalia. He has worked on editorial, music, book, and advertising projects, and his work has earned recognition from the Society of Illustrators and American Illustration. In addition to client-based illustration work, George also teaches illustration at Towson University in suburban Baltimore and has written four graphic novels: Ghosts Etc, Internet Crusader, 2120, and Curses.
