Amanda Petrusich is a staff writer at The New Yorker, and the author of three books about music, including, most recently, Do Not Sell At Any Price: The Wild, Obsessive Hunt for the World’s Rarest 78 R.P.M. Records. She is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship in nonfiction, and her work has been nominated for a Grammy award. She is the writer-in-residence at New York University’s Gallatin School, and presently lives in the Hudson Valley.
