Ana Tijoux is a French-Chilean singer, rapper, and songwriter known for her unique blend of Latin music, hip-hop, and socially conscious lyrics. Born in 1977 in France to parents exiled during Chile’s Pinochet dictatorship, her music often reflects themes of identity, politics, feminism, and Latin American culture. Tijoux gained international recognition with her 2009 Grammy-nominiated solo album 1977.
