Andrea Werhun

Bio

Andrea Werhun is a Toronto writer, performer, and sex worker advocate. She’s the co-creator and author of Modern Whore, an art book about her experiences working as an escort, made in collaboration with director Nicole Bazuin. A second edition of the book is forthcoming from Strange Light, and their short film adaptation was shown at 2020 festivals including SXSW, Hot Docs, and Fantasia. Her and Bazuin’s short film Last Night at the Strip Club premiered on CBC last year, and she’s also written for publications including Playboy, Hazlitt, and more.
