Annika Hansteen-Izora
Bio
Annika Hansteen-Izora (they/she) is a queer Black art director, designer, and artist from Palo Alto, California, and Portland, Oregon, now based in Brooklyn, New York. They have been featured by It’s Nice That, AIGA Eye on Design, and Bustle. As a multimedia artist, Annika uses art, design, and poetry to explore themes of tenderness, communal care, joy, afrofuturism, and queerness. She currently heads Creative Direction for Somewhere Good, a family of brands that center people of color, including: Ethel’s Club, a social platform for people of color, and Form No Form, a 24 hour visual channel celebrating people of color. They are also the Co-Creative Director for Black Feast, an event celebrating Black artists and writers through food.
