Arima Ederra
Bio
Arima Ederra’s creative journey started with poetry before music became her main focus. Raised in Las Vegas and now based in Los Angeles, she first began singing at open-mic poetry nights. In 2016, she released her debut EP, Temporary Fixes, an experimental collection that blended R&B influences with reflections on time, change, and mortality. Her 2022 debut album, An Orange Colored Day, introduced listeners to her warm, intimate sound and thoughtful songwriting, exploring heartbreak, loss, healing, and ultimately faith. Produced largely alongside Teo Halm, the project helped establish Ederra’s signature style: emotionally honest songs carried by curiosity, tenderness, and soulful melodies.
Released in March 2026, Ederra’s second album, A Rush To Nowhere, builds on those themes while diving deeper into the idea of time and how we experience it. Written over two years and co-produced by Halm and Rahm Silverglade, the fourteen-track project moves naturally through soul, R&B, pop, and experimental sounds inspired by artists like Minnie Riperton, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, and Prince. Across the album, Ederra treats time as something fluid—memories, emotions, and relationships folding into one another. Both sonically and visually, A Rush To Nowhere feels immersive and cinematic, inviting listeners to slow down, reflect, and trust the uncertainty that comes with moving through life.
