Aurélie Dekoninck
Bio
Aurélie Dekoninck is a historian, translator and “infernal archivist” who earned her PhD at Oxford University. Her latest project is The Devil in the 19th Century – A Witness Account, the first-ever English translation of the pamphlets and texts written by journalist Léo Taxil in order to perpetrate a 12-year hoax in late 19th century France that captivated the public and convinced the Vatican that there was a satanic cabal working within the Freemasons to overthrow the pope.
