Bennett Foddy
Bio
Bennett Foddy is the creator of a number of games including his well-known series of four-letter web games QWOP, GIRP and CLOP. His work has been shown at MoMA New York, at the Pulse Art Fair and in dozens of other museums and festivals around the world. He currently teaches game design at the NYU Game Center, where he is a member of the faculty. He previously worked at both Oxford University and Princeton, where he was a research fellow in the field of moral philosophy, studying the relationship between addiction and free will. One upon a time, he also played bass guitar in the band Cut Copy. Here he discusses time management, not worrying too much about your first release, setting limitations, and the importance of remaining in dialogue with others in your field.
