Bio
Branden Jacobs-Jenkins is a Brooklyn-based playwright who draws from a range of contemporary and historical theatrical genres to engage with audiences in meaningful ways. His works for the theatre include Everybody, War, Gloria, Appropriate, An Octoroon, and Neighbors. He is a MacArthur fellow, a two-time Pulitzer finalist, and a Residency Five playwright at Signature Theatre. Along with playwright Annie Baker, he is a co-director of the Hunter College MFA Playwriting program.
