Bio
Caleb Braaten owns and operates Sacred Bones, a respected independent NYC-based record label and publishing company that is synonymous with forward-thinking contemporary music, art, books, and film. Having worked with seasoned musicians like Patti Smith, Trent Reznor, and Genesis P-Orridge, as well as fostered the respective solo musical careers of film directors David Lynch, John Carpenter, and Jim Jarmusch. They’ve also released career-defining albums by artists like Zola Jesus, Marissa Nadler, Amen Dunes, and Jenny Hval. Braaten is also co-founder of the independent artist management company, Zone 6 as well as the New York City based nightclub, TV Eye.
