Carlos Dengler

Bio

Carlos Dengler is a freelance actor, musician, writer, memoirist, composer, and filmmaker living in New York City. He received an MFA from the Graduate Acting program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2015 and was the founding bass player and keyboardist for the band Interpol from 1997 to 2010. He is currently completing post-production on a festival-bound short film called Iowa that he wrote, directed, and starred in, along with composing the score and editing. He has written for n+1, Seven Stories Press, and Tidal, and is working with Foundry Literary + Media on his first memoir.
