Chad Hartigan

Bio

Chad Hartigan was born and raised on the island of Cyprus and attended the North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Filmmaking. His feature, This Is Martin Bonner, won the Best of Next Audience Award at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and the John Cassavetes Award at the Film Independent Spirit Awards. His next feature, Morris From America, won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and was released by A24 Films. It was nominated for a Gotham Award, an Independent Spirit Award, and named one of the top 10 independent films of the year by the National Board of Review. His fourth feature, Little Fish, a science fiction romance set amidst a fictional pandemic was ironically delayed by a very real pandemic and eventually released by IFC Films in 2021 to widespread critical acclaim. His most recent film was 2025’s The Threesome with Zoey Deutch, Jonah Hauer-King, and Ruby Cruz.
