Dean Wareham

Bio

Dean Wareham is an American musician and writer best known for his work in Galaxie 500 and Luna. In 2008 he published a memoir, Black Postcards, that detailed his life in the music industry and the subsequent end of his marriage. In 2014, 10 years after the band broke up, Luna reformed to start playing shows. In 2017, the band released A Sentimental Education, a collection of cover songs. Here he discusses the complications of keeping a band together and explains the virtues of taking a break.
