Dreamcrusher
Bio
Wichita, Kansas-born artist Luwayne Glass is known for the ecstatic, mind-melding blend of punk, soul, and power electronics they make as Dreamcrusher. Glass started releasing what they call their NIHILIST QUEER REVOLT MUSIK over a decade ago, and after moving to New York City in 2015 made a name for themselves as one of the city’s hardest working noise musicians. Dreamcrusher is affiliated with Corpus and plays and collaborates often with Show Me The Body; they are a member of an amorphous group of noise musicians (including Deli Girls, Machine Girl, and more) who call themselves The Mutants; and you can spot Glass’s graphic design work not only on their numerous album covers but on countless show flyers. Dreamcrusher’s last releases were an EP called Grudge2 and two singles, “CISHET” and “FEVER.” Grudge2 counterpart Grudge1 is on the horizon.
