Elizabeth Catte

Bio

Elizabeth Catte is a writer and historian from East Tennessee. She holds a PhD in public history from Middle Tennessee State University and is the co-owner of Passel, a socially-conscious historical consulting firm. Her latest book, What You Are Getting Wrong About Appalachia, was published by Belt Publishing in 2018, and she is currently co-editing 55 Strong: Inside the West Virginia Teachers’ Strike.
