Emerson Whitney

Bio

Emerson Whitney is the author of critically acclaimed Heaven (McSweeney’s, 2020) and Daddy Boy, out in July, 2023 with McSweeney’s. Emerson’s work has appeared in The Paris Review, New York Magazine, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and elsewhere. Emerson teaches in the BFA creative writing program at Goddard College and lives on Passamaquoddy, Penobscot, and Haudenosaunee Confederacy territory (between Maine and Montreal) with his spouse, his best friend, and a mess of dogs.
