Emily Haines is a musician and songwriter best known for her work in Candian indie-rock band Metric. In addition to releasing six albums with that band of the past 15 years, she is also a frequent collaborator with Broken Social Scene and an accomplished solo artist. This year she released Choir of the Mind under the moniker of Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton.
