Fred Armisen

Bio

Fred Armisen is an actor, writer, comedian, and musician best known for his work on Saturday Night Live, Documentary Now! and Portlandia. From 1988 to 1996, he played drums in the Chicago punk band Trenchmouth. He was one of the creators and stars of the Spanish-language comedy series Los Espookys, which aired on HBO from 2019 to 2022. He currently plays Uncle Fester on The Addams Family spinoff / reimagining Wednesday. In September 2025, he released an album of sound effects entitled 100 Sound Effects.
