Hana Ward

Bio

Hana Ward is a painter and ceramicist from Los Angeles, California. She earned a B.A. from Brown University in 2011. Ward’s paintings touch on themes of liberation, introspection, and diaspora. Her paintings are often depictions of women engaged with the various layers of their consciousness, what she calls “odes to the sanctuary of the mind.” Ward is the creator of Uno+Ichi, a brand specializing in handmade ceramicware that celebrates the small and unexpected. Through all of her creative outlets, she aims to liberate and inspire.
