Bio
Heba Kadry is an engineer who’s mastered some of the most compelling underground and experimental albums of the past decade. Kadry grew up in Egypt and briefly had a career in advertising in Cairo before attending The Recording Workshop in Ohio to study audio engineering. She started out with an internship at SugarHill Recording Studios in Houston, Texas, and moved to New York City in 2007 to pursue her mastering career. Kadry is now based in Brooklyn, where she operates her own studio and helps bring to life records by seemingly disparate artists such as Björk, serpentwithfeet, Slowdive, Lucy Dacus, Beach House, Rabit, Cass McCombs, Zola Jesus, Marissa Nadler, Girlpool, Lingua Ignota, and many more.
