Vegard “Ihsahn” Tveitan is a musician best known for his work in Emperor, one of the most significant black metal bands to come out of Norway in the early ’90s. Though Emperor has not released a new album since 2001, they continue to play live sporadically. Since 2006, Tveitan has released solo recordings under his stage name Ihsahn. He is also a former member of the bands Zyklon-B, Peccatum and Thou Shalt Suffer. His most recent album, Ihsahn, was released in two versions: metal and orchestral.
