Jack Rusher

Bio

Jack Rusher is a multidisciplinary artist with a deep technical background. Since the mid-1980s he has contributed to many open-source projects and worked in research at places like DEC Systems Research Center and Bell Labs. He minored in music composition at university and played in countless bands during the late ’80s and early ’90s. Later, while building a startup in the late ’90s, he grew restless without an artistic outlet and attended art school in the evenings. These days, he is a founder and partner at the software design consultancy Applied Science Studios and spends as much time making art as making technology.
