Jana Horn

Bio

Jana Horn is a musician and writer from Texas, based in New York. Following the re-issue of her debut album Optimism by No Quarter Records in 2022, she has released two full-length albums. Her 2026, self-titled, release was recorded in the desert at Sonic Ranch and traces her transition from life in Charlottesville, where she was in the Creative Writing MFA at the University of Virginia, to New York City. She is the 2026 recipient of the Halifax Ranch Prize for her story “The Woman,” forthcoming in American Short Fiction in Spring.
