Jennifer Croft is an author, critic, and translator of Polish, Ukrainian, and Argentine Spanish, and winner of the International Man Booker Prize for her translation of the Nobel Prize-winning Polish novelist Olga Tokarczuk. She lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with her twins, her cats, and her husband. Croft’s newest book, The Extinction of Irena Rey, is a beguiling novel about eight translators and their search for a world-renowned author who goes missing in a primeval Polish forest.
