Jess Scott

Bio

Jess Scott is a self-taught artist in Los Angeles. She is a painter, illustrator, sculptor, musician, clothing designer, and writer. She currently fronts the band Flesh World alongside Scott Moore (Limp Wrist) and previously played in Brilliant Colors and Index. She co-ran the label Make a Mess, wrote for Maximum Rocknroll, and currently publishes the print-only arts magazine Quinto Quarto Quarterly. She has recently shown work with Tom of Finland Foundation, Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit’s Mike Kelley Mobile Homestead, and at her own “temporary, occasional gallery” space, The Staircase.
