Jonah Yano

Bio

Jonah Yano is a Montreal based Japanese-Canadian artist exploring his family history, interpersonal relationships, and cultural experiences as a part of the Japanese diaspora through the practice of songwriting. Yano has been playing music since the age of 10 and recording since 2016. To date he has released an EP, nervous (2019), and an LP, souvenir (2020), with the label Innovative Leisure. He is currently working on his second LP, set to release in 2022.
