Judah Friedlander

Judah Friedlander is an American actor, writer, and comedian best known for playing the role of writer Frank Rossitano on the NBC sitcom 30 Rock. In addition to his stand-up work, Friedlander has also published his own satirical martial arts guide and a volume of his drawings and cartoons. He recently released a stand-up special, America is the Greatest Country in the United States, which he directed himself. Here, Friedlander talks about his DIY approach to making his own comedy special, what it means to maintain control over your creative work, and why political comedy should be about more than taking cheap shots.
