Bio

Karly Hartzman is a songwriter and artist based in Asheville, North Carolina. As the leader of the genre-bending band Wednesday, she has put out five albums, most recently this year’s acclaimed Rat Saw God. Her songs don’t recount epics, just the everyday; they’re true, they’re real life, blurry and chaotic and strange. In addition to her musical work, she is also a maker of zines, photographs, and clothing.
