Kira Roessler

Bio

Kira Roessler is a musician best known for her work as Black Flag’s bassist during their most prolific period (1984 to 1986), when she played on seven of their releases. She is also a member of the twin bass duo dos (with former Minutemen bassist Mike Watt) and has played in the bands Twisted Roots and AwkWard. Meanwhile, she is an Emmy- and Oscar-winning dialogue editor who has worked on Game Of Thrones, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Mad Max: Fury Road. In 2021, she released her first solo album, Kira.
