Kristin Hayter

Bio

Kristin Hayter is a vocalist and musician who performs and records under the name Lingua Ignota. She is known for incorporating a wide variety of styles in her work—including noise, classical, and liturgical music. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and received her MFA at Brown. She made her recorded debut as Lingua Ignota in early 2017 with Let The Evil Of His Own Lips Cover Him, the proceeds of which she donated to the National Network to End Domestic Violence. She lives in San Diego.
