Laura Sullivan Cassidy
Bio
Laura Sullivan Cassidy is a writer, editor, and artist living on Coast Salish Land in what is now called Seattle. Having worked as a culture and style journalist, content director, and multimedia ghostwriter, in 2021 she reskilled in grief coaching and death care. In addition to leading the client experience team at Recompose, an environmental funeral home in Seattle, WA, she nurtures a socially engaged art and community practice that encompasses death awareness, creative expression-focused end-of-life and grief guidance, print projects, and community happenings. Laura also records industrial/ambient/noise music with her partner under the name Less Tower (formerly Children’s Hospital), remakes clothes for a label called Memory Care, and writes and edits a Substack called Griever’s Ball.
