Hannah and Carla’s collaboration ignited the summer of 2014, upon recognizing a shared passion for food, art, hospitality, and ambiance. This sparked many elaborate dinners, events, parties, and pop-ups. In the spring of 2016, they decided to create a space of their own, occupying a former diner in Hudson, NY. Lil’ Deb’s Oasis was born, part restaurant, part living sculpture, part community space. With a lot of passion and hard work, Lil’ Deb’s Oasis has evolved into an institution with two James Beard Award Nominations, write-ups in Bon Appetite, i-D, and Dazed magazines, and devoted fans far and wide.
