Bio

Lisa Marie Basile is a poet, essayist, and editor based in New York City. She is the founding creative director of Luna Luna Magazine, author of the books Light Magic for Dark Times and The Magical Writing Grimoire: Use the Word as Your Wand for Magic, Manifestation, and Ritual as well as several books of poetry, and the co-host of Astrolushes, a podcast about astrology, ritual, pop culture, and literature. Her work touches on trauma recovery, chronic illness, everyday magic, and writing as a tool for healing.
