Lizzi Bougatsos is a visual artist, musician, and writer who lives and works in New York City. Her band, Gang Gang Dance, has been releasing music and playing shows for nearly 15 years. Their sixth studio album, Kazuashita, was released in 2018. Here she discusses the benefits of a long-term creative project, why it’s good to have multiple outlets for your work, and what it means to self-identify as an artist.
