Bio

Michael Schenker is a German guitar virtuoso who made his recorded debut at age 16 on the Scorpions’ Lonesome Crow album. He quickly rose to fame as the guitarist of the English hard rock band UFO while influencing the entire generation of guitar players that would define 1980s heavy metal. He returned to the Scorpions briefly in 1979 for their classic album Lovedrive before forming the Michael Schenker Group, which lasted until 2010. He currently leads the band Michael Schenker Fest.
