Bio

For over 15 years, the award-winning Australian photographer Michelle Grace Hunder has established herself as the go-to photographer for bands and solo artists seeking a memorable portrait. The Melbourne-based artist has two series of portraits in the National Sound and Film Archive of Australia and has shot a number of Rolling Stone Australia and NME magazine covers, album covers, and tour campaigns. In 2014, she released the photographic book RISE, an insight into her personal and professional experience of Australian hip-hop. In 2018, Hunder celebrated the launch of a multimedia project that took four years to come to fruition. “Her Sound, Her Story” celebrated the many, diverse women in Australian music through a full-length documentary and portrait series.
