Miriam Garcia

Bio

Miriam Garcia has spent over a decade supporting artists at different stages of their careers with her experience in developing, curating, and producing a wider variety of artists’ programs and creative support initiatives. In film, she’s the Program Officer for the Catapult Film Fund, served as a Producer for The Sundance Institute, and programs international films at the Tribeca Film Festival. She also manages the artists’ relations for the New Latin Wave, a media platform to support and promote Latinx Artists. Miriam is a frequent moderator and guest participant at film festivals, panels, and juries. She has been a collaborator for The Creative Independent since 2018.
