Molly Zuckerman-Hartung
Bio
Molly Zuckerman-Hartung makes painting-objects that explore affect, critical theory, and psychoanalytic ideas through drawing, cutting, folding, and pouring. She lives and works in Los Angeles, where she is an Associate Professor of Art at UCLA. She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has held solo exhibitions at the Blaffer Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. Her work has appeared in group exhibitions including the Whitney Biennial 2014; Painter, Painter at the Walker Art Center; and Michelle Grabner: I Work From Home at MOCA Cleveland, and is held in the collections of the Walker Art Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Carnegie Museum of Art, the Frye Art Museum, the Berkeley Art Museum, and the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
