Bio

Nic Juarez is a writer and editor based in Long Beach, California. He is the TV recaps editor at Vulture/New York Magazine. His writing has appeared in Vox, Vulture, and Jacobin. He writes Common Fiction, a newsletter that examines how cultural, political, and economic logic gets encoded in film, television, books, and video games, and Praxis Hollywood, a film review series that maps movies onto a political compass. Before moving into media, he was a content strategist and studied screenwriting at Chapman University.
