Bio

Owen Pallett is a Canadian musician, singer, and composer, who started their career as a member of Toronto band Les Mouches and making solo music as Final Fantasy. Besides working on film soundtracks like Spike Jonze’s Her (which received an Oscar nomination for Best Original Score in 2014) and Tim Burton’s Dumbo, they’ve collaborated with artists including Arcade Fire, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Frank Ocean, Haim, The Mountain Goats, and more. Most recently they scored Matt Wolf’s documentary Spaceship Earth (their second collaboration following 2019’s Recorder: The Marion Stokes Project), and their fifth album, Island, is out now.
