Peter Vack is an American actor, writer, director, and producer. In 2017 he wrote, directed, and starred in Assholes, a film he also funded himself. Described by one critic as “One of the most disgusting films ever made,” the film is, as Vack will readily admit, not for everyone. Here he discusses his transition from actor to director, the trials and tribulations involved with making a tiny budget film on your own, and why he has a particular love for movies that seem as if they should never have been made in the first place.
