Ralph Tharayil

Bio

Ralph Tharayil is a Swiss writer of South Indian descent whose work encompasses prose, poetry as well as performance, in which he explores the kinship between language and the body, and the potential muteness of both. His work has appeared in literary journals and magazines and reaped multiple awards. His literary debut Nimm die Alpen weg as published in February 2023 and was awarded the Alfred Doblin medal. Ralph lives in Berlin.
