Rebecca Fasman

Bio

Rebecca Fasman is the curator at the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University. Her practice focuses on artists who have been left out of the canon. She is largely responsible for the (re) discovery of modernist photographer George Platt Lynes, which started when she curated Sensual/Sexual/Social: The Photography of George Platt Lynes in 2018. Lynes is the subject of a recent documentary directed by Sam Shahid, currently available on all platforms, where Fasman is prominently featured.
