Bio

Better known to the world of electronic music as Vladislav Delay, Finnish producer and drummer Sasu Ripatti has released over 30 albums since 1999. Some of them were under other pseudonyms he’s since retired (Luomo, Uusitalo, Sistol) and a handful were the result of collaborative projects (AGF/Delay, Vladislav Delay Quartet, Moritz von Oswald Trio). Alongside exploring a world of textures from ambient to techno in his solo work, Ripatti has produced for Sly & Robbie and remixed Black Dice and Massive Attack. Five years ago, Ripatti sold his studio gear with the intention of taking a break from the music industry. February 2020 marks his return to music with a new Vladislav Delay album, Rakka.
