Bio

Simón Mejía is the founder and band leader of Bomba Estéreo. As one of Colombia’s most successful bands, they’ve released five studio albums with two Grammy nominations and seven Latin Grammy nominations. Bomba has collaborated with artists from Arcade Fire to Will Smith and performed on the world’s biggest stages from Coachella to Glastonbury. Simón has three new projects: the first Bomba Estéreo album in four years titled Deja, an electronic solo album titled Mirla under the artist name Monte, and the documentary Sonic Forest.
