Stephen Malkmus is an American musician best known as the primary songwriter and lead singer and guitarist of the rock band Pavement. He currently performs with Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks and as a solo artist. His most recent solo album, Traditional Techniques, will be released in March of 2020.
