Bio

Maya Shipman is a Miami-based producer, songwriter and owner of Never Normal Records, who creates, records and performs as Suzi Analogue. She is a member of the Recording Academy, a Next Level ambassador to East Africa, a CHROMAT babe—the list goes on. A tireless champion of womxn and Black artists, she leads panels and workshops on music production and business, entrepreneurship, creativity, and mental health. Her prolific release schedule includes this year’s SU CASA EP, a number of singles (including “Conversation Starter,” a collaboration with and benefit for Rabiah Ahmad, who was tragically killed by gunfire), and her debut ambient collection, AXIS.
