Tara Fay Coleman
Bio
Tara Fay Coleman is an artist, independent curator, writer, and cultural worker from Buffalo, New York. Working across performance, text, image, installation, and participatory forms, her practice considers visibility and the ways power shapes how identity is constructed and read publicly. Her writing moves between critical reflection and personal narrative, shaped by Black cultural production, memory, place, and lived experience. Coleman is a recipient of the Pittsburgh Foundation Advancing Black Arts Grant and was recently a Curatorial Fellow at NXTHVN. She currently lives and works between Pittsburgh and New York City.
