Tavi Gevinson

Bio

Tavi Gevinson is an actor and a writer. She has performed on and off-Broadway in This Is Our Youth, The Crucible, The Cherry Orchard, MOSCOWx6, Days of Rage, and Assassins, and in the Williamstown Theatre Festival’s productions of MOSCOWx6 and The Member of the Wedding. Her screen credits include Enough Said, Person to Person, The Simpsons, Scream Queens, The Twilight Zone, and HBO Max’s Gossip Girl. Tavi’s writing has appeared in New York Magazine, The New Yorker, The Believer, and Poetry Magazine. In 2011, she founded Rookie, an online magazine for teenage girls. Tavi edited and art directed Rookie and its five print anthologies until shuttering it in 2018.
