Viva Soudan

Bio

From off-broadway musicals to touring European stages, hype gxrl to site-specific performance, experimental dancer to drag queen; Viva Soudan is a transformer. Practices of therapeutic releasing, emotive energetix, risk and recovery, and commitment as presence inform Viva’s performance work. Currently she is researching liveness, paradoxical realities, grief as terminal, sensorial surrealism, and the body as a poetic and cruel portal for the passage of time for an upcoming project. She is the founder and creator of Bodyroll, a collective movement practice examining the arte of aerobix.
